But 2020 was a year like no other. Extraordinary. Demanding. Many lost their loved ones and their livelihoods – especially the most vulnerable in our communities. And the theme of resilience re-emerged, as it has so many times in our history.
COVID-19 has reshaped how we do a lot of things today. Testing the operational resilience of our processes, the pandemic and lockdown have radically transformed the way we interact with systems and each other. And while the forced acceleration of digitization was a bridge too far for some, it was also an opportunity for others.
We are proud of our resilient community of partners, customers and their families. We have seen innovative applications by young engineers. And heard amazing stories of selfless sharing of resources and time. Well done! Learning and sharing is now standard. And while we don’t know when the crisis will end, we know our community will be wiser and stronger every day. And embracing every moment.
